I can't believe so many fans left after the rain delay

Comerica Park was like half empty when the game resumed;


By the 8th inning, looked like a Ghost Town!


What Gives?

I know we were losing 8-2 but it was a warm summer night and most kids are done with school

I hate to say it; BUT!


Maybe Katrina Hancock was right about Detroit Sports Fans after all?


I am tempted to post this on that other board; but I am curious to hear from people here first.

Fair weather fans...in more ways than one!

a shower while watching a game does good for what ails ya! We had ours last June watching the Mud Hens!

Look at all the fans at Pirates games! They've got good fans People would've left no matter the city.

I like rain on a warm night;


But most people start running up the steps at the first spinkle.

WHY?


It was 80 degrees when it started raining. 72 when the game ended


I even saw people putting Jackets on, not raincoats, but jackets!


A saw a few ushers wearing their orange down jackets; all zipped up

That drives me nuts!

Catbox; Nobody shows up at Pirates games because they haven't won squat since " We are Family" was a hit single.


However; All Season long I have seen Tigers Games [ which had sellout crowds] half empty 5 minutes before the first pitch, people arriving in the 5th inning and tons of fans leaving before the 7th inning stretch.

Why are these bandwagon, Johnny Corporate fans buying tickets in the first place?


I guess some people have no problem spending 200 bucks for tickets, parking, food, drink and souveniers for Little Johhny only to watch 4 innings of baseball



What pisses me off is that these same people will buy up all the available postseason tickets if the Tigers were to make it in October; shutting out the real fans

Really? You really can't believe people were leaving? They scored 8 runs on 3 hits. I can't believe people are showing up.

No lead should ever be safe with our offense!


At least the Tigers got enough to win Last Night.
