True, he has been a little more reliable as of late, which is good, don't get me wrong, I don't like watching him fail, but flinching's just become a Pavlovian response to him coming out of the pen.

Oh sorry, hun! Pavlovian refers to a psychologist, Pavlov- he discovered that dogs (and therefore possibly people) learn by association. His dogs drooled when he rang the dinner bell, even when they didn't get any food because they had learned to associate the bell with food (well, that's a rough explanation anyways).
