| If you're still up at 12:20 AM PT (3:20 AM ET) the Rockies and Padres are still on. It's now the 19th inning.
The score is 1-1.

| Longest game ever? 26 innings in May of 1920. That game ended in a 1-1 draw due to darkness. This won't end due to darkness. | |

| Rockies can't score in the 20th.
Bottom of the 20th now still tied 1-1.
For those interested each team scored once in the 14th.

| This is the longest game in Rockies history (and has been for a few innings now - the old record is 18 or 19...I forget which).
This is tied for the longest game in Padres history.

| Crap!
2-1 Rockies.
Taveras reaches on an error (inning should've been over at that point). He steals 2nd and goes to 3rd on a throwing error. Tulowitzki gets a hit to score him.

| http://www.pawsox.com/team/longest_game/ The guys on the radio were saying baseball games should be detrmined by a homerun derby after 12 innings. Who cares what they said though they were trashing our boys. Just thought it kind of odd that this happened on the same day. I just happened to read it yesterday and then heard about the Padres game. | |
