It's sad when you have a fantasy team and you have both Bondo and Delmon Young going - and you try to contemplate ways where both can have good days and still have the Tigers win.

Hmm, Delmon singles, steals a base - now just get out of the inning ok?

Well, at least the runs were unearned - so Bondo still has a good game going ERA wise, though the WHIP is a little high.....

I think that they bought into the hype about themselves too much, were overly confident, thought they'd breeze through the season and reality has now hit - they haven't prepared properly. Even Leyland said it during spring training - he didn't think they were ready. When I read that in the paper down here in Lakeland, I was nervous, and I guess rightfully so.

I'm trying to find an adequate analogy of what it feels like to watch or listen to the Tigers. I havent watched a game on TV yet so all I hear on the radio when the Tigers are batting:

Theres a drive to left field...not deep

Theres a shot up the middle...(so and so) gets a glove on it tosses to second heres the throw to first: GOT EM!

So after 12 games, Leyland finally decides to give these guys an earful. How many f'ing games is it going to take to get Sheffield out of the 3 hole?

Leyland, it's 2008, not 1998. He should be hitting 6th or 7th and that's being generous. He doesn't scare anyone anymore.

It's a bit mystery....I had some faith in them when it was 5-4 but someone must have turned on the "let's give this game away" switch....I still have faith in them but man, it is getting old that they just can't get it together....hitting or pitching...although I believe our offense is the biggest issue...pitching gives em the chance and they don't capitalize on it....such low scoring games or shut outs...at least we have 4 thus far, but that's not gonna cut it in the AL...C'mon Tigers...get it together guys!
