Awful? I didn't think it was that bad! I didn't add color - I made everything else B&W. I also added an artistic blur to the background. The blur didn't do a whole lot since the background was fairly simple...

I didn't add color! I took an image in color (see the first post in this thread for the original picture) and took away some of the color.

Too lazy to do a good job with the above photo, but here's something that took about 120 seconds...

I really should've taken my time and made only Verlander not with the weird background, but it's so much easier to be lazy...

That fancy effect should include everything but Verlander. I didn't erase it that carefully since that takes a while so there is that think streak of normal background around him...
