Leyland said Tuesday that he's intrigued by Casey Fien, a 24-year-old right-hander who pitched last year for Class A West Michigan. While Fien doesn't have a chance to break camp with the Tigers, Leyland asked for him to pitch in Tuesday's game and said he could be in consideration for a big-league spot later this season. Fien pitched a scoreless inning Tuesday, his second in a major-league game this spring. "He did a fine job," Leyland said with a smile. "He's not afraid, and I really like that." ...

Wilkin Ramirez, the young outfielder who hurt his shoulder after an impressive showing early in camp, has recovered to the point that he's already playing in minor-league games this week.

I dont know....... if he only played Class A last year, I dont think he would make it in the pros, not this year, one scoreless inning doesnt mean so much to me.

ok, so apparently when we play Cleveland, if their bullpen isn't "ready yet" either, we will end up with scores like 117 - 105 then???? :haha:
