Lineup for tonight is:

Grandy
Polly
Sheff
Maggs
Carlos
Pudge
C-Mo
Marcus
Ingeie

At the end of 2 and 1/2 innings, it's tied 2-2. Ingie looks good out there, drawing a walk and stealing second! Haha! They're afraid to pitch to him now! Good! Bondo isn't his sharpest. He's already up to 53 pitches, 38 for strikes after 3 innings of pitching.l We'll see. He's always touchy at the beginning so the next couple of innings will be telling. Detroit is up to bat. Back to the game. What's interesting so far is that we've scored our two runs on walks and errors, not hits! Hey! We'll take 'em! We ain't giving 'em back!

LOL cabrera must feel stupid for hitting sheffield at this point. He really took advantage of their miscues to get to third.

thanks for handing us the lead o's!!

Can you believe it! It's Maggs again, singling Sheff home after Sherff stole second and moved to 3rd on a wild pitch! What a beast! AL player of the week indeed!

Yeah, loll. It seems to be a comedy of errors so far. But, whatever helps Bondo! We gotta score early and often! However. Whatever. : )

Well, we're tied again, 3-3. Bondo was lucky to get out of the 4th with just one run scored. He must have thrown 7 pickoff attempts to first base to hold the runner there! Seems more like he has found his stride now, though. He's throwin strikes.

So far, after 4 four full innings, Bondo is definitely the better pitcher. He's at 68 pitches, 49 of them strikes for 72% strikes. Cabrera is at 74 pitches, 39 strikes for only 52% strikes. But the score is still tied, 3-3. That's what has to change for Detroit! C'mon, guys! Go bats!

Hmmmm....looks like the boys have a little fire in their gut tonight. I do wonder if the Orioles pitcher will take a hot at Shef when he comes up? If he does, Sheff will likely miss a few games, because you know he is not going to turn the other cheek.

Whew! Bondo got out of the 5th thank god with two on by striking out Hernandez! Way to stay cool, Bondo! His pitchcount is up to 90, though and that scares me a little because Leyland won't let him stay in there much beyond 100. C'mon bats! Get a win in Bondo's war chest! It's time!

Yeah, he's gotten doinked a few times already this year. Seems like it's happened to him and not the others, although there might have been one on Guillen, I'm not sure. But I remember Sheff taking a few. What is it? The man who used to be in pinstripes who is still easy to hate? I'd unload if I were in his shoes!

You asked for it, and Sheff provided it. I hope that the Orioles have awoken Sheff, this team needs his bat to come to life.

I would not want to be the hitter that makes Zoom angry....he looked slightly unhinged during that little melee. I think I would rather tick off Jones or Maroth.

Yep, the Zoomster appears to one who could "unleash the fury!" I was surprised at Ledezma the other day yelling at the umpire, Nauert, were you? He seems like Maroth to me, really mild-mannered, but then we don't really know these guys I guess.

It sure is the best way to get even! I'm really glad for Sheff. There are a few Sheff-haters on the board who have done nothing but nay-say for several weeks now, starting in ST. I just hope that the 5 runs holds up for Bondo, 'cause he's not going to be in there much longer!

Well., Bondo gave up a homer before Leyland yanked him and put in Ledezma who staunched the bleeding with Pudge's help who threw out the runner at second on a steal attempt. So, we're hangin' by a thread here, 5-4 Detroit. HOLD THAT LINE!

Still no outs in the 7th after Sheff crossed the plate. Great night for Sheff! And I agree w/ you about Rodney. I just can't get myself to trust completely yet. But he does seem to have gotten over his neck kinks or pinched nerves or whatever it was.

Whooooh! Rodney got all the way up to a 3-2 count and then a wild pitch that sends Patterson to second! Thank god Mora swung at that 7th pitch which was low and outside for strike 3! Otherwise it would have been deja vu all over again! Rodney gives me heart palpatations! Game over! 8-4 Detroit! Way to go Tigers! Cowabunga!

You know, he DID! But I still get the shakes when he comes into the game because of past games that were just blown in the 8th or 9th! If the baseball gods are with us and grant that Chad and Nando and and Sheff and Ingie are all coming around to their "better selves," May looks good indeed! Here's hopin'! Ciao!
