WHOP? Seriously though, 18 wins for Verlander! Yeah, it's a meaningless stat, but I still care. Hopefully he can get 7 more K's though - 200 is so much better than 193.

One WHOPer of a pitcher! Mmm...Burger King! I can't wait to go home in 8 days! I haven't had any meat in a month....and I'm not even a vegetarian! Something with meat sure makes a better dinner than plain oatmeal. To stay on topic, those are respectable numbers for Virgil Matthew Vasquez. I'll take that.

| A whopper sounds good to me, I have been eating lots of canned vegges for dinner. Cheap, but sort of good for you. Rather have good fresh organic veggies. Don't think I could eat much plain old oatmeal. Catbox, do you have a recipe for home made mild tomato based salsa for snacking? | |

Catbox, do you have a recipe for home made mild tomato based salsa for snacking? Salsa: Take 1 tomato. Take 1 onion. Dice them both. Take some cilantro and dice that in there. Chop up some green onion and throw that in Add a clove of garlic. Add salt and pepper to taste...or skip the salt. I never use salt for anything. Normally you add a jalapeno, but that makes it less mild (I guess). Mango Salsa (not tomato based though): 1 mango (can you get mangos where you are?) 1 peach 2 cloves of garlic 1 Tbsp fresh ginger root 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves 2 tbsp. lime juice Actually, salsa is very easy to make. If you want tomato-based add tomato and onion in pretty much any ratio you see fit. Next, add anything that resembles a pepper in pretty much any ratio (red, bell, green, and yellow peppers for example [wait, isn't a bell pepper one of the other kind I just mentioned?]). Add cucumber, and pretty much any other vegetable. Garlic is good, too. In general, following a recipe is a bad way to make your own salsa. Just make about 3/4 of the amount you want and taste it. If one ingredient is too weak or too strong, adjust accordingly.

| Oh, don't blend it. I tried making salsa last week and blended it because the recipe said to. It wasn't very good - it tastes like the gazpacho I tried to make a while back - not very good.
The only utensil you should use is a knife. Cut it up as fine as you want/can with a knife, but no finer than that.
