at least the oldies but goodies had SOME sort of gray matter activity involved (ie, Concentration, Password, etc.). The first time I felt things were getting a little weird was Tattletales and Match Game.

It was for the most part. Sometimes the celebs got a little silly. And then Hollywood Squares...geez, so many were smashed for that show because they filmed a week's worth of shows at a time, so there was a constant party going on in between takes.

yup. I don't know if exact cause for his heart attack was found...in 1982, there just wasn't the technology to determine cause like there is now...

The old game shows were better; I like watching them sometimes on Game Show Network;
Things were a lot cheaper too. 5,000 dollars for a new car on Let's Make a Deal or Price is Right.
