| Yep. I'm thinking that high rise is a hospital or something. The community is health savvy I guess and wants a big hospital. What other big building would make sense? The town 1 town over from me is 3,000 people and it has a full-sized hospital. _________________ Coming Soon: A better signature!

Yeah! If I had any control I'd put one in for you.
We have a drive-in 30 miles from my house. I go every once in a great while. 2 movies for like $5 a person or something like that. _________________ Coming Soon: A better signature!

| Wish you had more control! Sounds like the people that do are the same as in real life. Cities will put a WalMart and Walgreens all over but no drive ins. |

We don't have a WalMart or Walgreens in DTF1 Land. While I understand your point, I like having a Wal-Mart and Target in my hometown - sure beats what we had before.
Wal-Mart was an empty lot. A lot of Native Americans got super pissed because the land belonged to them or something. I don't really know the story because we don't have any reservations or a Native American population in my town, but I guess at one time we might have. I think it was a burial ground or something.
Target is on theater drive which is named after the theater than used to be there - the Drive-In Theater. Before you yell at Target, that theater was abandoned 10 years before Target moved in. It was basically a vacant lot for 10+ years. The screen was gone, too. I can remember being a little kid going to my dad's house (who lives 2 miles from there) and seeing the speakers sticking up out of the ground but I'll take Target (and the rest of that shopping center) over the abandoned Drive-In. _________________ Coming Soon: A better signature!

| There are numerous abandoned drive ins and vacant lots [ that were once drive ins] across the U.S. There used to be a drive in located in Taylor called the Jolly Roger; It was torn down to possibly have a grocery store built on it in the early 90s; More than 15 years later it is still a vacant lot. So many trees and weeds throughout the lot, it is hard to believe it was once a drive in |

| That being said; WalMart, Target, Meijer and other Shopping Centers have caused many operating drive ins to be demolished. |

Yep. Just not the one in my town. The thing about smaller towns is they have room for shopping centers and stuff.
The outskirts of my town has TONS of room for stuff. I want a Fry's (electronics store). They're HUGE. _________________ Coming Soon: A better signature!

| We have 50 people!!! You can now raise industry! I think only one link per day works so every now and then raise industry, too! Right now unemployment is 0% so there's no need to raise industry. _________________ Coming Soon: A better signature!
