He is trying to force the street vendors from selling bottled water and peanuts from the streets near Comerica


Ford Field has a no food or drink policy; but Ilitch don't want them selling period near Comerica.

There are only a handful of vendors allowed; A far cry from the days of Tiger Stadium when street vendors hawked everything from Bats to Water


I like being able to buy a can of pop for a Dollar from Major Brooks on the corner of Woodward or Mr Daniels across from Comerica after spending 3 hours in Miami Florida conditions



I spend 810 a season on tickets plus whatever I buy at Comerica; Why screw over a few vendors making a few bucks [before and after a game ]and fans trying to buy a can of pop or bottle of water

If Selig and Ilitch gave two shits; they would allow day games [ on 90 plus degrees days] to be reschedule to 7:05 or even 5:05 on Sunday

Funny they can switch a Friday Night ALCS on less than 24 hours notice but not a Sunday afternoon or Thursday Afternoon or Saturday Game


And Screw FOX


Tigers don't need every Saturday Home Game shown on a network that is biased towards them too

I agree there GS, Fox is anti-Detroit! I hate their broadcasts! (or lack of in my area! half the time)

Maybe they can't control the weather but the schedule as a Joke


Just look at it!


We play 9 games at home in July. Have another huge 10 game home stand in August.

We play the first three weekends in September on the road; [ We all know the hottest weekend will be the last one when the Tigers are home!] We don't host the Rays until the last four games


Starting with a Thursday Afternoon game? Followed by Friday Night; Sat Night [ I bet FOX will make em switch] and Sunday afternoon

One things for sure; It will be a long time before I am wearing my jackets or jerseys at Comerica

Well it is almost July, what do you expect!

I realize it is summer; However it doesn't have to be near or above 90 degrees for every home game. Nor do the Tigers have to play almost every Saturday Game at 3:45 thanks to FOX

It sure would be nice to have the bulk of the heatwaves when they are on the road be nice.

But it never seems to work out.

Watch FOX add The July 26 White Sox Game, The August 9 Game against the A's and or the September 27 Game against the Rays to their schedule


Hopefully all three of those teams will collapse making it less of a marquee matchup


Even if it were 60 and cloudy those days; I like to see the post game Fireworks following Saturday Night Games.

Temps in the 70s in San Diego all weekend; 60s at night. No Humidity either


Tigers need to bring that weather back with them next week


Along with three more wins!

At least the game is not on Fox this weekend!

I just got home before it hit.

Clear Sky to the East about a half hour ago; Now Clouds and Raining

On the front page of Friday's paper; There was an article claiming there is a good chance we will have frequent severe weather through the end of July


According to long range jet stream predictions by the NWS

80 degrees this afternoon in Detroit


Chance of T Storms Later;



Nice and Dry in San Diego;

One bit of good news; Looking at the latest forecasts for next week;

It looks like temps won't be in the 90s later next week.


However; temps will be in the mid 80s, humid and a chance of T storms almost everyday

Hope it don't rain during the Tigers Games!

I just cut my yard last evening.
