My favorite Simpsons is the one with Homer's Barbershop Quartet, the B Sharps.

I know the guys that recorded the music for that episode. 8) 8) 8) 8)

Simpsons Rule! They have been on FOX for 18 years and had a movie done about them! Hell even Mash didn't last 18 years on CBS!

Even Cheers and Fraser lasted only for like 10 seasons on the air!

Same goes for The Cosby Show

I love that episode about the B Sharps! I like the one where Homer and Bart went after Grandpa Simpson, who went to Branson Missouri after his new girlfriend he met at the Old Folks home: ,

Also I like the one where Mr Burns has Wade Boggs and Roger Clemens and Ken Griffey Jr Steve Sax and Don Mattingly and other MLB players try to win the Springfield Baseball Championship;

Shave them sideburns off Mattingly! LOL! He gives them that tonic that makes Griffeys head expand! LOL!


I love Mr Burns! Remember the episode where the town thought they saw an alien, but it was really Mr Burns, who had this goofy treatment done every month to prolong his life that made him take on an alien like appearance; LOL!

I like Sideshow BOB, too!

I love the first Christmas Episode where Homer didn't have any money for Christmas[because Marge used their savings to get a tattoo removed from Bart] and he is shopping at the dollar store, then he goes to the Greyhound race track to try and win money gambling from his Santa Claus paycheck and he brings home Santa's Little Helper as a present!

And no one does Halloween like the Simpsons: Too Bad we have to wait until the first week of November to see it: Thanks FOX!

Most of the shows way up there are from way back when. In 20 seasons Gunsmoke aired 633 episodes (31.65 episodes/yr.) while The Simpsons had 400 episodes in 18 seasons (22.22/yr). Gunsmoke is like Cy Young's 511. It might be unreachable. The Simpsons is the modern-day Greg Maddux, climbing where no one has gone in forever. In TV history only 12 shows have made it to the 300 episode club - only Law and Order and The Simpsons debuted after 1980. There are only 3 other active shows over 200!

I can't believe Law and Order is still on! Same goes for ER! The Simpsons has an option to be on for two more seasons after this one! That would give it at least a 20 year run
