Family Guy was nominated for an Emmy for best comedy series

It's the first time an animated show has received such a nomination in over 40 years (The Flintstones). Not even The Simpsons has ever been nominated for that.

Seven shows were nominated and Family Guy doesn't have a shot in hell at winning (supposedly 30 Rock is pretty much the guaranteed winner...I've never seen that show) but still!

All-time Family Guy has 3 Emmy wins in 10 tries (including 0 wins for outstanding animated program). The Simpsons has 24 wins (including 10 wins for outstanding animated program).

and now it even has its own spin-off!

Family Guy was so funny this season


My favorite episode was " [Stewroids] Peter injects Stewie with Steroids


I also liked the Family Gay Episode when Peter took a job having medical experiments done on him; they injected him with the Gay Gene; When I first saw it; I didn't think it was that funny; but after a couple of times shown in reruns on FOX and Adult Swim; it is so fooking funny

Family Guy's Baby Stewie Is Gay

Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane made his most emphatic statements to date about character Stewie Griffin's homosexuality, telling Playboy magazine in an interview that hits newsstands tomorrow that the cartoon baby "will be gay or a very unhappy repressed heterosexual," reports the New York Daily News.

"We had an episode that went all the way to the script phase in which Stewie does come out," MacFarlane tells the September issue of Playboy. "It had to do with the harassment he took from other kids at school. He ends up going back in time to prevent a passage in Leviticus from being written: ‘Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind. It is an abomination.'

"But we decided it's better to keep it vague, which makes more sense because he's a 1-year-old. Ultimately, Stewie will be gay or a very unhappy repressed heterosexual. It also explains why he's so hellbent on killing [his mother, Lois] and taking over the world: He has a lot of aggression, which comes from confusion and uncertainty about his orientation."

Speculation has long swirled around the ambiguous sexuality of the young fictional character on the hit Fox show known for equal-opportunity offensiveness. Last year, MacFarlane all but confirmed the homosexuality of Stewie in an interview with The Advocate . "He originally began as this diabolical villain, but then we delved into the idea of his confused sexuality," MacFarlane said at the time. "We all feel that Stewie is almost certainly gay, and he's in the process of figuring it out for himself. We haven't ever really locked into it because we get a lot of good jokes from both sides, but we treat him oftentimes as if we were writing a gay character."

I don't care if Stewie is gay; because Stewie and Brian totally make this show a laugh riot


However; I rather see Stewie as a bi-sexual and for sure as more evil; like he was in the earlier episodes of Family Guy

I like when Stewie dresses in drag; that some funny shit


Like in the episode; "We love You Lauren Conrad" Brian is upset that his ex girlfriend Jillian is geting married; Stewie, Lauren and Brian are discussng how Brian can try and win her back and stuff; Stewie says; that Brian needs to be seen with a beautiful woman to make Jillian jealous

Season premiere is September 27 (same with the Simpsons)

The season premiere is going to parody Sliders. I might make an effort to watch it since Sliders was greatness.
