I asked my parents about animaniacs yesterday. Because I didn't think I ever watched it, although I saw it on tv....

They told me "You weren't allowed to watch it because it was not appropriate"

was it actually or did they just say that? lol

Well, you can watch them here, now that you are older! LMAO

When I was growing up, my mom would not let me watch the Three Stooges! She said kids imitate what they see and the stuff they did could really hurt someone if a kid tried it. Looking back, SHE WAS CORRECT!" With their eye poking, and hitting, it really could have caused kids physical damage, since we did not know the stuff was not really done with contact, like it looked in the TV show.

Well it was on Fox KIDS, and then KIDS WB... whistle

There was adult humor on there, but not as bad as say Family Guy or Futurama. It was aimed at kids, but probably around the 13-15 year range. You might've just been too young at the time.

lol. I was just wondering. I was like umm.. why wouldn't you let me what it? they told me because I was too little when I wanted to watch it, and by the time they would have let me watch it, I didn't want to watch it anymore

actually my folks felt the same way about Johnny Quest. I wasn't allowed to watch it when it first came on (it was an evening prime-time cartoon back in the day!)
