Split up JV and Max! Empty

I keep hoping Leyland will split up Verlander and Scherzer. I know it is going to be difficult for ANYONE to follow JV....after facing him anyone's fastball will probably look like a floating beach ball, but....

I guess I just think Scherzer's stuff is vulnerable after a team faces JV. In my opinion, someone like Porcello may have more success the day after a lineup sees JV. Even Penny or whomever ends up #5 would be preferable, to me, than throwing Max after Justin.

Am I crazy?
