DETROIT - Customers at participating A&W Restaurants in Southeast Michigan can get an A&W® Coney Dog for just 25¢ the day after Detroit Tigers' #25, Ryan Raburn, hits a home run. The promotion will run throughout the Tigers' 2011 Baseball Season.
"It's a great way to tie in with the fun and excitement of Major League Baseball in the summertime, and Detroit Tigers' fans are among the most passionate baseball fans in the country," said A&W spokesperson Dean Bagnasco. "We are thrilled to be working with Ryan Raburn, who is a rising star in the Tigers organization - not to mention a pretty good hitter!" A&W customers can purchase as many as two Coney Dogs (per person per visit) for a quarter apiece, the day after Raburn hits a dinger.

DETROIT- A&W restaurants in Southeast Michigan were slammed with Tigers fans looking for 25¢ Coney Dogs on Monday after #25, Ryan Raburn smashed a grand slam in Sunday's contest against the Chicago White Sox. In response to the overwhelming fan participation in this special promotion, A&W will continue to offer Coney Dogs for 25¢ the day after Ryan Raburn hits a home run, with a purchase limit of two (2) per person per visit.
"Everyone at A&W was pleasantly surprised by the sheer number of Tigers fans we saw come into our restaurants for this special promotion," said A&W spokesman Dean Bagnasco. "We are thrilled to continue to offer 25¢ Coney Dogs after Ryan Raburn hits a home run, but after realizing what an enormous and hungry fan base the Detroit Tigers and A&W have, we will have to limit the number of Coney Dogs fans can purchase for a quarter, to two."
