Tigers ink six to one-year contracts
By Jason Beck / MLB.com | 02/21/11 7:40 PM EST

LAKELAND, Fla. -- The Tigers came closer to finalizing their contract matters by agreeing to terms with six more players on the 40-man roster. Infielders Cale Iorg and Will Rhymes, right-hander Robbie Weinhardt, and left-handers Andy Oliver, Daniel Schlereth and Brad Thomas all agreed to one-year deals.

None of the players were eligible for arbitration. Their deals mean the Tigers have 31 members of their 40-man roster under contract. Teams can automatically renew player contracts next month if they can't agree to deals.
