"My Favorite Things" with the Tigers Wives

Tune into Fox Sports Detroit or MLB.TV on Wednesday, September 16 for the Detroit Tigers and Fox Sports Detroit broadcast auction to benefit the Detroit Tigers Foundation to support Tiny Tigers, a t-ball and junior baseball program funded by the Foundation in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan.

The auction will feature baskets hand-packed by the Tigers Wives filled with their husbands' favorite things. From gift cards to their favorite restaurants, to their favorite CD and DVD, the Tigers Wives have personally selected items to showcase their famous husbands' favorite things. Each basket also includes unique memorabilia ranging from baseball cards to game used items to autographed memorabilia.

The three packages described below will be auctioned during the broadcast on Fox Sports Detroit and MLB.TV. Each package includes the items listed and are sold as is.

Fans may bid place a bid or donate by calling the auction hotline at (313) 471-2100. Tigers Wives, Fox Sports Detroit reporters and Tigers front office personnel will answer the auction hotline with the game's first pitch through the final out of the 8th inning. Winners will be announced during the post-game show on Fox Sports Detroit.

The first 100 people to call and donate $20 or more will receive a Tigers and Fox Sports Detroit Autograph prize pack including an autographed photocard of a 2009 Detroit Tigers player, and autographed Fox Sports Detroit broadcaster and a 2009 Detroit Tigers giveaway item.
