make no mistake about this: I am a Tiger fan -lifelong.
I have to wonder, though - with this series against the Yankees, is this the beginning of the second half choke or will we see some real teamwork? The losses in NY were really preventable, and not there's bleeding.
If I were Leyland - or someone - I'd give such a dressing down their mothers wouldn't recognize them.
Let's hope this is not a trend. This is not the way to the playoffs or the series.

The only good thing to come from this series.... the Yankees did not blow out the Tigers badly. All three games were actually very close.

The Tigers should have won all three. They had the runners in scoring position many times every game, and could not execute. It comes down to needing a couple big bats, or some small ball specialists.

Our pitchers, except for Zoom, kept the runs against them very low.

It seems the guys were not in the proper batting order to execute. Also, we have too many guys trying for the long ball, when some bloop singles would have scored the runners.

Another more than quality start by Edwin and no run support.

The bats have not been rolling at all this weekend.

It's sad. Because to the person who gives up the least runs, they give no support to.

Jackson has only had a few starts this year that haven't been quality. I think I might hop on SN and restart blogging.
