It will be interesting to see what happens with the writer's strike that started today. The last one was in 1988 and lasted 22 weeks....

Boo strike! End the strike now! I'd hate to see The Simpsons get canceled after all these years because of it. Good thing they have so many holdover episodes. They're in better shape than just about any show on TV. Still, they haven't been renewed for next year yet and you'd hate to have them come to an end after 19 seasons and 420+ episodes because of a lousy strike.

King of the Hill: 21 of 22 episodes completed The Simpsons: 22 of 22 episodes completed
Those are about all that matter. That sucks about losing 1 episode of King of the Hill but based on what other shows are going to go through, I'd say it isn't too bad.

I don't! It's the second longest running TV show that still airs (after The Simpsons). It's one of just two shows to debut in 1990 or earlier that is still on the air (it debuted in 1990), The Simpsons in 1989 (well, 1 episode in 1989...a bunch of "shorts" from 1987-1989...first short was aired 4/19/1987).
Simpsons is in their 19th season, Law and Order is in their 18th season (well, they will be if it ever starts )

I don't know if I really like Law and Order, but I the the versions of that show, Criminal Intent and SVU.
My dad, sister, and I really get into those episodes.
My Dad has seen almost every regular L & O before!

My mom and sister love one of the other law and orders. I forget which one. I'd assume Criminal Intent. Which one is the one where that one lady is a main character? She's not that good of looking...

I mean, I don't know how I knew that besides the fact that I don't think there is one particular main character on the other show (Criminal Intent) that is a woman. I just figured that is who you meant, I think more people watch SVU also.
