According to post on Wikipedia, the bugs are:

"Gnats had a major affect on the 2007 American League Division Series Game Between the New York Yankees and the Cleveland Indians on October 5th, 2007. During the 8th Inning when Joba Chamberlain was pitching, the playing surface at Jacobs Field became infested with thousands of Gnats. They swarmed Chamberlain as he attempted to pitch and resulted in a number of uncharacteristic wild pitches. Chamberlain had been completely dominant during the regular season, only allowing 1 Earned Run during his 24 Innings pitched."

I remember the tigers last trip to Cleveland was gnat infested!

We call those "Mayflies" Muffleheads. GOD they are Sooooo annoying! they cling to Everything! And there's never just a couple of 'em...they are in swarms! One more reason for me to get out of this go-forsaken state ASAP! lol

Well...there shouldn't be anymore Bug problems the rest of the post season. The weather has to be warm and humid for them to come out...and we're finally starting to cool off. Our "Indian Summer" is over. =(
