Forbes: Tigers, nine others see value drop
Ten teams declined in value over the past year -- the most since 2004 -- including the Tigers by 9 percent to $371 million, according to Forbes' annual report released Wednesday.
The magazine estimates the Yankees worth the most ($1.5 billion, up 15 percent) and the Marlins worth the least ($277 million, up 8 percent).

...  but it is hard for me to feel sorry for teams that lost money [ but are still worth 277 million and up Not with people losing their jobs and homes | |
