Infielder Jeff Larish lands final roster spot with Tigers

LAKELAND, Fla. — The Tigers have placed infielder Mike Hessman and outfielder Brent Clevlen on outright waivers, signaling that Jeff Larish has won the final roster spot.

The waiver period for Clevlen and Hessman is set to expire at 1 p.m. Friday. The Tigers have also tried to trade both players.
