I've not been here for a while, and won't be back regularly until ST gets underway, but wanted to stop by and wish you all a Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year, and all the very best to our beloved Tiggers in '09.

Merry Christmas from gdennis here as well. Im sure Bryon will be on later and will most likely say the same thing, but I thought Id stop by while things are getting under control over here.

I did get a Journey CD and a Queen CD, lol!

A fur hoodie that is super comfy, some under armour as workout clothes and some other things.

My favorite thing I got is my Sports ESPN Scene It.

But we must remember the reason for the season, and not get caight up in what we got, and take some time to appreciate what we have and what we dont. Hope you all have a great day!

And when my mom gets her tax returns she is taking me shopping for a Tigers jersey or two.

I already knew everything I was getting, so I'm happy with everything.

My brother got an iPod touch, my sister got new tires for her car, and I got $250 dollars in addition to our other presents....

Well.... techniquely in christianity, which this holiday is, Christmas season ends on January 6th when the 3 kings find Jesus and present the gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

Christmas is celebrated by Orthodox Christians in Central and Eastern
Europe and throughout the world on the 7th of January in the Gregorian
Calendar - 13 days after other Christians.

They use the Julian calendar. It is, at the present time, thirteen days behind the Gregorian Calendar. My dad's parents, immigrants from near Kiev, followed this, so we celebrated two Christmases growing up.

Corporate America starts Christmas on about October 15. I don't think that has anything to do with the Bible - they just like to drag it out for months and ruin it.

I always celebrate Advent and then the Christmas season until January 6th. That's when my spouse and I exchange gifts. We both work on Christmas!

Not to mention department stores putting up Christmas displays in October

And see all the good it did them to start the holiday blitz early....
Fewer people than last year at sales any time this month.
Even JC Penney opening their doors at 5:30 AM today didn't help all that much. It wasn't any more crowded today than it usually is here...

Sure they do - if the team moves to another city the stuff is on sale. On fathead.com you can get a Roy Williams fathead with the Lions for 90% off.

Problem is who'd want something like either of those things?
