Your Browser is smart enough to assume that you meant to close it. But if you were to convert your code to XHTML, you'd be in trouble if you didn't close your tags!

I found the EPROM burner I want. The people at Atariage.com say it does a good job for what I want it to do. It's $149.95 plus shipping ($50 because it's in Germany rant

) though. I'll try and get one free from the place I'm getting my free Wii - they allow custom orders now and don't charge for shipping YAY!

BASIC blew my mind so much I got through nearly a semester before I actually realized I was computer programming! Of course, this was in 1981....geez, Catbox! you weren't even alive yet!

I'm trying to find a book on BASIC but they're all from pre-1984. It seems odd to purchase a computer book that's 25 years old. Hell, I don't normally buy computer stuff that's 5 years old!

HEY! I have a BASIC text book,
"The BASIC Handbook" by David A. Lien, copyright 1978!

After I had the course, I wrote a poem about the agonies of computer programming that was published in our college newspaper. Dr. Lien apparently saw my poem and sent me this complimentary copy! I still kept it after all these years!

They didn't ban me per se, just my IP address. I can't even read the forums to ANY mlb.com forum. Normally when you go the forums you read them and everything but can't post. Here when I go to the forums it says you must log in to access that page and when I log in there is an error and I need to try again (the message you get when you're banned).

On computers I haven't previously used I can log in and post so my screen name isn't actually banned. It's weird.
