Agreed. I mean it's one thing to make them do extra work and carry your bags and what not, but the rest is unnecessary. You hear a lot about hazing at colleges and how it goes way too far with serious consequences. This hazing is somewhat amusing, but who knows what else happens behind closed doors.

No, basically they just steal their clothes and replace them with random costumes and then take them out drop them off a few blocks away from whatever hotel they are staying at and make them walk back. They leave bags with their real clothes in them in a pile in the lobby.

There might be some other people that take it farther but I don't think the Tigers do.

Like the Padres or Dodgers...I think Padres this year.

How can you be sure that nothing else happens when no media is around?

Uh, I was there and we talked to some of the guys about it. I don't think they are stupid enough to take it farther.

Key word think. I don't mean like life-risking hazing, maybe just lots of beer-drinking or something.

Well it's unnecessary, but I don't really care. I'm just concerned that more might be going on. Go look up college hazing and you'll see tons of examples of hazing gone wrong. Even something simple like drinking water can turn deadly.
