Hi Everybody

Sorry I haven't been around this summer. My daughters had a million things going on. I spent alot of time watching the games out with friends.

Just wanted you to know I think of you all often.

Oh and I got my tatoo...a beautiful Blue and Orange D on my ankle. and I got promoted on my new job already! WOOHOO
Now that school has started for the girls, I can once again gain control of the computer and join you more often.

It's not at all the same though. If I wake up and think it, I don't want to go to school today I don't have to. If I get bored in class I can just walk out no questions asked. Plus I only have class 2 days a week.

I'm not trying to be mean. You'll be fine. It's not like you're going to a school in a city that's 200 miles away and you have to live there without knowing anyone and the city has 4 million people and the school has 40,000 people and they make you share a bedroom with someone you've never met even though you've never shared a room in your life....

that was me when I started college.

At least if I was sharing a room with someone I would have someone to talk to without any problem. I mean a conversation has to come up somehow if you are staying in the same room.

Not with the guy I shared a room with. I was 18, he was 24. He was a super hardcore drunk. Every "morning" his alarm would wake him up at 2 or 3 in the afternoon and he'd make coffee and spike it with whatever alcohol was around (white wine, vodka, etc. :puke2: ). He rolled his own cigarettes so there was tobacco all over the place. He mixed non-tobacco in with his tobacco thinking people wouldn't notice.

He constantly played loud rap music all day and all of the night. We never really had any conversation.

And... idk I'm still like about to start crying because all my friends who go to catholic highschool are talking about how it will be so easy to meet people and stuff, yah thanks you try to go into a school where everyone knows each other.

It'll be fine. I mean you spend the majority of your time in class anyways and you get to come home afterwards. Other than lunch you don't really have to know anyone anyways. It'll be fine...

But I can't function without friends :haha: That is the only part of school that I like. I get up and go so that I can talk to my friends. Plus the school is forcing me to take classes that I already took so those classes are going to be really boring.

Chances are the people who you have lockers around, or with, will end up being a best friend. In high school I met Cindy. We had 4 Jr. Hi schools in town, so half the high school did not know each other in 10th grade (our HS was 10-12th grade). They assigned lockers by grade and alphabet. So Cindy was normally my lockermate. I met her in 10th grade, and she, and the kids that had lockers next to mine, ended up as good friends.

Also, look for others who are shy and try talking to them. They are the same as you, and would probably appreciate someone to talk to.

I have a question, how did you FIRST become friends with your best buds in Catholic school??? I bet you did not know each other at some point, yet you made it!

And like Cat said, college is just the same.... My first days at Michigan State Univ. was the same.... I did not know anyone! I ended up with 2 room mates. Sarah turned out to become a good friend, and my other room mate was straight from Japan! Masai could hardly even speak English! I was glad when they finally were able to find rooms for those of us who were tripled up in 2 person rooms! Masai found another Japanese student, in classes, and roomed with her, and Sarah and I roomed together 2 years!

And I had never had to share a bedroom before this!

Today was a half day. So we didn't do much. had a test in spanish but it had nothing to do with spanish. The rest of forever are full days though

I woke up and felt tired so I went back to bed. I have another class at 10:45. I don't know if I'm going or not. The problem with skipping would mean I drove to LA yesterday for nothing - I have to drive back home today. That's a lot of gas to waste for skipping both classes. I'll probably go to the other class.

I thought someone was going to beat me up! I was in my science class, and everyone except me in there was a senior...
