Russia and Georgia agree to ceasefire

The Russians and Georgians say they have agreed to a ceasefire although this doesn't appear to actually be happening.

The Russians do not want a war. There is no reason for them to break this ceasefire i think. And i think Saakaschwili is warned not to try to march into South Ossetia and Abkhazia again. The Russians will be there to stop him. He should know that now. This war was just a totally stupid move Georgia did. Still am puzzled what exactly Saakaschwili thought. He should have known that Putin/Medvedev would not tolerate such a thing. And start a war against Russia? Stupid stupid Saakaschwili...

Condoleezza Rice should stop threatening Russia IMHO. Georgia started the whole aggression this time. And just because there is an important oil pipeline in Georgia should not give them the right to do anything they want. Maybe it's time for Saakaschwili to go. Russia declared not to negotiate with him anyway.

Why did Russia start shit with Georgia, anyway? Do they hate the Braves as much as we do? Atlanta already looked like it was hit by a bomb, anyway....so I guess it doesn't matter...

I thought Georgia started it but I'm not sure. The coverage here hasn't been all that great and most of that is just Bush going on how great Georgia is. Of course they have oil so no matter what they do it's fine.

Out of 177, but we are slowly dropping. We were 9th in 2000 before Bush took over, now we're 12th.
