And I have some big container of it and you put it in a pan with milk and it has to boil, then sit, and then you add whatever you want.

Wow, that's fancy oatmeal. Mine probably could be made like that (it's not packet oatmeal) but I microwave it. Mine is done....oh how I wish I had some jelly or something to give this flavor

pop popcorn. If you have read about how popcorn works, you know that
you need three things to make popcorn: Moisture inside the kernel,

Normal rice is missing the moisture, but if you condition it with steam
to get enough moisture inside the kernel, you can either oven-pop rice

gives them the right texture to "snap! crackle! pop!" when milk is
added.

I saw that on wikipedia. My rice is brown rice though. I wonder if that'd work? I need to find the exact recipe somewhere.

That stuff is so gross though. I could sure go for a PB&J sandwich but that's beyond my budget.
