2008 OFC Nations Cup

Since we're talking Euro 2008 why not this, too? This tournament is currently taking place and while it's nowhere near as popular as Euro 2008, it's arguably more important - the winner is the only team from the OFC that has a shot at qualifying for the 2010 World Cup. The winner will play a home and away game against the 5th place team from the AFC (Asia) for a trip to the World Cup.

Since this tournament's inception only New Zealand and Australia have ever won it. Australia is now in the AFC so they are obviously ineligible.


It's down to the final group stage. Everyone plays everyone twice. New Zealand appears to be running away with it, but we'll see...
