Dodgers starter Brad Penny breezed through the first three innings before allowing six runs in the fourth inning.

Renteria was unable to make the play and Young was credited with a
single.


Tigers right fielder Magglio Ordonez makes a sliding attempt on a fly
ball by Dodgers batter Angel Berroa, which dropped in for a double in
the sixth inning.


Tigers Miguel Cabrera beats the tag of Dodgers catcher Russell Martin
to score from second on a single by Edgar Renteria in the sixth inning.
Cabrera went two-for-four with a two-run homer.


Tigers reliever Zach Miner pitches in the eighth inning. Miner pitched two innings, giving up one hit and no runs.


Dodgers reliever Takashi Saito gives up a double to Magglio Ordonez in
the eighth inning. In his only inning of work, Saito gave up three
hits, one run and struck out three Tigers batters.


Tigers reliever Bobby Seay pitches in the ninth inning. Seay pitched one inning, giving up a hit, but no runs.
