Well, remember, he is also comming over from the NL. In 2006 he hit 27 home runs. His bat may just light up also, given some time.

Yeah, but he also spent 7 years in the AL before that and his last 4 years in MIN he averaged 22.5 HR. He should be hitting, but isn't.

If Jones can't get it going soon, I hope Leyland starts using Raburn and Thames in left.

Why not just plant Clete in Left and let the kid go for a while?
