Worst starts in Tigers history

Hey cat, what is the worst the Tigers ever started out? Was it 2003?

2003: 0-9 (43-119)
2002: 0-11 (55-105)
1952: 0-8 (50-104)
1920: 0-13 (61-93)

Detroit Wolverines teams to start 0-7 (final record in parentheses)

1884: 0-11 (28-84)

No Tiger team has started out 0-7 and finished the season above .500.

Here's something more depressing, only 2 teams have had winning records after starting 0-7: The 1980 Braves (81-80) and The 1983 Astros (85-77). That Astros team lost 9 in a row to start the season. No team in the AL has lost their first 7 games and finished above .500.

I only really started watching games at Justin's no-no....watched us get to the WS but then didn't watch any of the WS! hard when I was working nights...

Yeah it is. My husband works nights and it's hard for to him watch anything let alone make plans to DO anything

I grew up watching the Tigers, I think I was wearing Tigers gear when I was a baby :haha:
