because he cant control his powers
he absorbed alot of powers and he really cant keep them under control

well its the bad guy.. "sylar" he has different powers too.. but he does not absorb them like peter.. instead sylar kills other people by cutting the top of their heads open with telekenises and taking the brain.. on the avatar he is sad cus he scared his mom and sylar is sorry and sad
