1/2 of the starting lineup is new players - they aren't gonna gel together in 1 week - and they certainly aren't gonna gel together in ST playing 3-4 innings a day.

It's adversity where teams are often forged and find their identity - and right now a lot of injuries and an 0-3 homestand adds up to quite a bit of adversity.

kitty-kat fans this is what I posted on the sox-kitty-kat thread yesterday NOW you cannot like the War that I am conducting on your board, but I do know my competition.....weakenesses

Now I believe that both teams will score no less then 5+runs per game. The Sox are going to smack Robertson and Willis and work on Verlander.......if the kitty-kats weather the storm from Sox hitters and dont allow Robertson and the bullpen to throw the 1st game... I see kitty kats regain their shaken confidence.

If the Sox win game 1 it could be a sweep because Willis will not get the kitty kats their first win unless the bats destroy Floyd in game 2..........I see Sox 2-1 Series win........Honestly though I hope you tear each others pitching staffs apart....maybe even throw some chin music at each others hitters.....GO TRIBE08!!!!!!

Nate is not pitching worse or better than I expect. He is a mediocre pitcher, alway was. However, he is paid as a mediocre pitcher. What bothers me are the high paid hitters that leave too many people on base.
