2007 SEASON

Finished fourth in the International League with 26 saves for Triple A Toledo...appeared in 10 games during four stints with the Tigers.

• Did not allow a run in his first seven outings with the Mud Hens, tossing 6.1 scoreless innings before having his contract purchased by the Tigers on April 20...tied for fifth in the International League with four saves during April.

• Issued a career-high three walks on April 28 versus Minnesota.

• Optioned to Toledo by the Tigers following the game on May 2 versus Baltimore.

• Recalled by the Tigers from Toledo on May 6.

• Worked the final three innings on May 12 at Minnesota to earn the save -- his first save at the major league level since September 24, 2003 versus Tampa Bay...optioned back to Toledo by the Tigers following the game at Minnesota.

• Did not allow a run in eight straight appearances with the Mud Hens May 29-June 19, tossing 9.1 scoreless innings.

• Recalled by the Tigers from Toledo on June 7 -- appeared in one game with Detroit before being designated for assignment on June 10...optioned to Toledo by the Tigers on June 11.

• Tied for third in the International League with six saves during July -- posted a 2-2 record and 4.26 ERA (12.2IP/6ER) in 13 appearances during the month.

• Recalled by the Tigers from Toledo on August 11 -- appeared in four games with the Tigers before he was optioned back to Toledo on August 19.

• Had his contract outrighted by the Tigers to Toledo on August 30.

• Tied for second in the International League with seven saves during August with the Mud Hens -- compiled a 0-1 record and 2.53 ERA (10.2IP/3ER) in nine outings during the month.

• Fared better against righthanded hitters in International League action, limiting them to a .186 batting average (21x113) ...lefties hit .278 (25x90) with Lopez on the mound.

• Took the loss in his only appearance for Toledo during the International League playoffs, allowing three runs on five hits in 1.2 innings of relief.

MAJOR LEAGUE CAREER

Saw action with both Colorado and Philadelphia during the 2005 season.

• Joined the Rockies bullpen after having his contract purchased from Triple A Colorado Springs on July 29 -- established career highs with four innings pitched and six strikeouts that day versus Philadelphia in his only outing with Colorado.

• Claimed off waivers by the Phillies on August 2 -- optioned to Triple A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre by Philadelphia.

• Recalled by the Phillies from Triple A on August 20.

Appeared in 17 games for Toronto during his two stints with the club in 2004.

• Posted an 11.42 ERA (8.2IP/11ER) in his first nine outings of the season before being optioned to Triple A Syracuse on April 24.

• Recalled from Triple A by the Blue Jays on May 11 -- compiled a 2.19 ERA (12.1IP/3ER) in nine outings May 13-June 6 before being optioned back to Syracuse for the remainder of the season on June 10.

Tabbed the Blue Jays Rookie of the Year by Toronto’s chapter of the BBWAA in 2003...tied for ninth in the American League with 72 appearances.

• Made his major league debut on April 2 versus the New York Yankees, working 1.1 innings of relief.

• Earned his first major league win on June 15 against the Chicago Cubs, tossing 2.2 innings.

• Registered his first major league save after blanking Baltimore for two innings on June 18.

• Compiled a 1.32 ERA (13.2IP/2ER) and seven saves in 12 outings during September.

MINOR LEAGUE HIGHLIGHTS

Assigned to Triple A Portland in 2006 after being acquired by San Diego as part of a three-player deal with Philadelphia.

• Fanned a season-best five batters on May 12 versus Albuquerque -- equaled the high with five strikeouts on June 17 against Fresno.

• Unconditionally released by the Padres organization on July 19.

Opened the 2005 season at Triple A Las Vegas in the Los Angeles Dodgers organization.

• Compiled a 3-1 record, 1.96 ERA (18.1IP/4ER) and two saves in 13 outings during May.

• Unconditionally released by the Dodgers organization on June 15, he signed a minor league contract with Colorado and was assigned to Colorado Springs.

• Optioned to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre after being claimed off waivers by the Phillies on August 2.

Appeared in 32 games during his two stints with Syracuse during the 2004 season.

• Posted a 1.93 ERA (9.1IP/2ER) over his first six outings with Syracuse April 29-June 12.

Second among all Mariners minor leaguers with a 2.39 ERA at Triple A Tacoma in 2002.

• Split time between the starting rotation and bullpen for Tacoma -- finished 2-3 with a 2.70 ERA (56.2IP/17ER) in 11 starts and 2-1 with a 2.05 ERA (52.2IP/12ER) and five saves in 23 relief appearances.

• Fanned a season-best eight batters in the second game of a doubleheader at Colorado Springs on June 20.

• Limited righthanded opposition to a .193 batting average (45x233)...lefties hit .260 (44x169) with Lopez on the mound.

Third among Texas League relievers with 11.35 strikeouts per nine innings and fourth with a .209 batting average against for Double A San Antonio in 2001.

• Fanned a season-best eight batters on May 26 versus Round Rock.

• Did not allow a run in eight straight outings June 5-July 3, tossing 16.2 innings.

• Sidelined July 13-August 9 with right ulna nerve irritation.

• Held righthanded opponents to a .183 batting average (28x153)...lefties batted .260 (20x77) against Lopez.

• Appeared in three games during the Texas League playoffs, suffering a loss in his only decision as he allowed an unearned run in three innings of relief.

Second among Midwest League relievers with 1.50 walks per nine innings and fifth with 9.75 baserunners per nine innings during the 2000 season with Single A Wisconsin.

• Opened the season in Wisconsin’s starting rotation -- posted a 2-0 record and 1.69 ERA (32.0IP/6ER) in five starts before pitching the remainder of the season in relief...finished 4-1 with a 2.00 ERA (36.0IP/8ER) and 17 saves in 34 relief outings.

• Sidelined May 5-21 with a medial collateral ligament strain.

• Did not allow a run in 12 straight outings May 23-June 23, tossing 13.1 innings -- posted a 0.64 ERA (28.1IP/2ER) over a 27-outing stretch May 23-August 8.

• Tossed 14.0-scoreless innings over a 14-outing stretch June 30-August 8.

• Landed on the disabled list for a second time during the season -- sidelined August 22-30 with right elbow tendinitis.

• Named the 24th-best prospect in the Mariners organization following the season by Baseball America.

Assigned to Single A Everett in 1999, he led the Northwest League with 93 strikeouts...finished second in the league with 87.2 innings pitched, tied for second with 15 games started, tied for third with one complete game, fourth with six losses and a 3.80 ERA and fifth with seven wins.

• Third among all league starters with a .230 batting average against and 11.09 baserunners per nine innings and fifth with 9.55 strikeouts per nine innings.

• Struck out 10 batters twice during the season, doing so on July 11 versus Portland and August 14 against Salem-Keiser.

• Fanned a season-high 11 batters in a win over Spokane on August 30.

Led the Dominican Summer League with 100 strikeouts for the Dominican Summer League Mariners in 1998.

Made his professional debut with the Dominican Summer League Mariners after signing with Seattle as a non-drafted free agent on July 3, 1997.
