United States Should Boycott the Olympics

What China is doing to Tibet is inhumane!


The United States should boycott the games! We need to send a message to China that their brutal actions will not be overlooked

when they kick Kwame's out, I'm gonna vote for GS for mayor he's always on top of everything!!!!

I'm not sure about this. I don't think China will care if some countries will boycott the games. It would be sad for all the athletes that are preparing themselves since 4 years to be part of this.

And as i sad, i don't think a boycott would change anything in Tibet. Politicians have to search for other ways of sanctioning China for these inhumanities.

I agree with swiss, China isn't going to give a crap if we boycott. All it will do is punish our athletes.

Still, I like the Olympics and I'm interested to see if Phelps can break Spitz's record for gold medals. Surely he can't if they're boycotted.

We better win the gold in basketball though - that's really embarrassing when we don't. We better win the medal count, too. China thinks they're going to win but they better not!

Yeah, to those athletes, this is their equivalent of The Olympics. Wait, scratch that That would have made a lot more sense if we were talking about the X Games but to these athletes the Olympics is the event. Quick - name some gymnasts. In August you'll be able to.

But if enough nations boycott; it would hurt China!

epecially since hardly anyone there is following the "one child per couple" rule!

I would rather boycott Walmart, who now dictates to companies how to make heir products and at what price, and that causes most companies to go to China for the cheap labor. Sam Walton never would have wanted this to happen, he actually tried to get new companies started in the US to make products for his stores.

I would rather pay a little more for American made stuff and help put Americans to work.

After I saw that Wal Mart Documentary on WOW ON DEMAND!

They should! But I think the people that work at Meijer and Target are unionized!

In addition, to the Chinese goods and putting small stores out of business, the documentary focuses on how Wally Mart keeps their workers from forming unions
