It's so funny how things change. I remember in high school I was looking through my mom's yearbooks (from the 60's) and I was lmao at their high hairdos and all that. She was like, "well, someday you might look back at your styles now and laugh too" and I thought "no way", as I'm sitting there with my 3 inch high bangs, permed hair with sprayed sides that looked like wings, with my jeans tucked into my socks with my florescent shirt and hair bow and my one earring that hung like 4 inches longing than the other.....

I did have a pretty awesome pastel pink one-piece pants jumpsuit too!!! I saw someone on one of my soaps wearing something like it and I found one just like it and thought I was cool

OK, everyone makes fun of the mullet hairdo now, but OMG, I was in love with any guy that had one back then, lol. Especially if it was like John Taylor from Duran Duran, lol. Actually most of my friends were like that too, lol

I remember my friends and I would have sleep overs where we would try to memorize everything they did in their videos and then do it with them!!! Then for "The Reflex", sometimes some of us would be the backup singers

hahaha omg I remember "The ReFlex" was one of the first songs I ever heard by them and I was really young, my next door neighbors who babysat me would always always listen to it and they got me hooked hahahaha it's still one of my very fav songs by them

One of my friends pulled all of his old records out of the basement one day to go through them and his kids came up and were like, "what are those?"
I had tons of 45's and 33's. When I was little I took a lot of my mom's old 45's and listened to them on my little record player and then decided to store them on my window sill Needless to say, she lost a lot of good ones that way

I think I have that one beat....I had Survivor's Eye of the Tiger on 33 (1/3), and I had another 33 called Electric Rock (a K-tel album!!).

Oh....I also had Michael Jackson's "Beat It" on 45 to go with my Stevie Wonder "I just called to say I love you".

And one must NOT forget....I think we ALL had Meatloaf's Bat Out of Hell....on 8-Track!!!

haha my kids know what vinyl is because my husband and I both love it. NOTHING sounds as good as vinyl. But my babysitter I don't think knows what it is

I never had meatloaf until later, I have it on my pc somewhere :haha: I had Thriller on tape though. My very first album that was totally mine was Bryan Adams Reckless on vinyl omg I used to him too

I had Heuy Lewis and the News - Sports too!

Huey Lewis was the Shit! I had EVERY tape he ever made at one point, then..as tapes do....they one by one got chewed up in the tape deck. Then....years ago when Napster 1st came on the scene...I downloaded every song from every album. LOL

OMG, of course we all had Thriller!!! No matter who's house you were sleeping over at, ya knew they had it so you didn't have to bring it :haha:

Oh I know, I hated how tapes got eaten up, lol
