Here's hoping Friday the 13th is "lucky" for our Tigers.

Tied right now 1-1(Maggs finally hit something).

Let's go Bonderman!!!!!!!

GREAT play by Casey.....got us out of that inning.

Ya gotta get to Bonderman by the third......otherwise, he is sterling.

Halladay doesn't look like his normal self. I predict Sheff will hit two dingers!

Well, they are making contact against halladay. I think that the next time thru the order will be problematic for the Jays.

I wish Bondo could settle down before the game starts. Seems like his first inning or two is always lousy, then he is golden.

My prediction: Tigers 3 Jays 1.

Halladay is a contact pitcher, he has been doing it long enough to know how to adjust, if not, he will get hit harder.

We gotta get Halladay outta there.

Do you suppose, that these "game threads" are so sparse, because the "Ticket" has just now become available on cable TV?

Man, I remember over 300 posts on a typical "game thread".

It is the 8th inning, and we have about 20 posts.

Or, are Tiger fans already spoiled?

Too early in the season?

Someone explain it to me, please.

No Kidding....

I can't stand Rodney. He was awful during spring training and has been bad this year.

Bondo was great tonight. Tigers need to manufacture some runs. I was wondering why Leyland didn't have them bunt to get a guy on and then steal second, since hitting against halladay wasn't working. gibbons played it smarter than leyland tonight.

And Rodney just stinks. he makes Jones look good.

Doggone it! I just do not understand Leyland's decision to bring in Rodney. The man is an amaqzing phenomenon, namely that he doesn't have a brain in his head. He's got great stuff, but no brain.....Or at least, he shuts it down in crucial situations. But Leyland should know that. Why on earth he would even think of bringing Rodney in a tight extra inning ballgame is beyond me.

We need another competent reliever besides zumaya. mesa and rodney are not the answer. neither is seay or ledzma.

i think we'll see miner up here in the near future. and maybe miller by mid summer,if he continues to do well in lakeland.

good night all - we'll go after those jays tomorrow!

This was one of the finest games I've seen since the playoffs and it had the feel of a playoff game. I couldn't take my eyes away from it. Probably Bondo's finest performance. It was mesmerizing. I hate he lost it but it was great baseball.

The "druggie weasel" Rush.

Tough, tough loss. I'm always nervous when Rodney relieves. But an infield hit, two well
placed bunts and a fly ball did him in. Chalk it off to Fri. the 13th.

Here's what you do.

Do you use Explorer for you web browser? (most people do). You can click on it twice and it will bring your homepage up twice. Consider these seperate entities. One you can use for the game video and the other you can use for the message boards. You can flip between the two. You don't have to close the game window, just minimize it. Give it a try! I hope you can get it to work.

Last year was the first year in a LONG time we got to celebrate. This year, so far, the pitching and
defense are solid but the bats are cold. There's a lot of potential RBI's in that line-up, so I think it's
way too early to be as pessimistic as others.

120-42 !!!!!!!!! Well, sometimes I am a pessimist. Last year I didn't think we had any hope of beating the Yanks in the playoffs. And in 2003, I admit to saying, "It's gonna be 20 years before this team is a contender."

Well, it was a long dry spell before '06 so it was hard to see any light at the end of the tunnel.
I hang a lot on the Tigers success because I find it hard, at times, to be optimistic about the
"real" world. If they do well, it lightens the load.

I thought it might be up at the left-hand corner so I clicked twice there and about the upper third of the screen turned blank and white so I assumed that's what you meant. But then I couldn't figure out what to do next. I am a bit ashamed to admit this, but it is what it is and we all have our strengths and weaknesses and GREAT weaknesses and this is mine. I'm still never sure which way to turn a jar lid!
