Tigers will resume full-season plans on Monday

FREE PRESS STAFF REPORTS • February 21, 2008

The Tigers announced today that they will resume sales of full season-ticket plans on Monday.

The 27 and 41-game plans are still available. Within those plans, instead of Opening Day, an additional game against the Red Sox or Yankees is in the plan.

Single-game tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. March 1.

People want full season, for its perks, part season packages do NOT get opening day. (My guess)

As much as I'd love to be there most of the time, it still is so much easier to watch it on FSN!

Yeah, because there were so many people wanting full season packages there wasn't enough Opening Day tickets for all of the half season people to get some. We have Opening Day tickets with our half-season plan but we had to pay extra for them, I think.

lol, I hear ya!!! The only crappy thing about the place being full is that it's harder to see. I went to one of the last games in Sept. last year and was sitting on the lower level, but far back. Luckily it wasn't jam packed so we were able to move over when people sat in front of us (not to mention this lady in front of us must have taken a bath in perfume, lol).

Definitely hafta bring binoculars too. Otherwise no way to see Magglio's, uh, face!

That is totally me too!!!! I don't leave my seat and have those things glued to my eyes. I went with my family to a game and my brother was like, "who does that, you don't even respond if we say something to you" and I told him to look around, I definitely ain't the only one with binoculars. Then he would cringe when Pudge would be up cause he knew I was gonna yell. Then he saw other girls yelling for all the players and running down to take pictures of different ones. Then he finally said, "I guess you're not that bad", lol.

don't know if I could be that energetic running to take pics, but getting close! (I work out at least 3 times a week...that should have to come in handy SOMEtime!) lol

just take pics for us. There is a fence where you can get good pics as the players go to and leave the field.

We have right field seats for Magglio oogling for 2 games.

now all it needs to do is rain! :silent:

I've been working out 5-6 times a week cause I know spring's a comin', then summer. I think I'd be in "hop the fence" shape if I went down there, LOL (of course then I better plan on out-running security, lol)
Of course the weeks I work more I tend to workout less, work always gets in the way of life ya know, lol

If it wasn't for the cigarette smoke, I'd probably be in one!

They probably go easy on the girls. I have seen a couple of them run on the field during a game. They just walk with them off the field. Now! If a guy runs on the field, they tackle his ass on the field. One Time at Comerica. I saw a guy try and scale the old outfield fence and a cop yanked off onto the warning track.
