To celebrate tigersaint - and another Tiger win - some Shakapella!
Monday, January 19, 2009 A Cappella Contest Winner! Ladies and Gentleman, we are proud to announce the winner of our A Cappella Contest..."Shakapella Groove"! This is one of the best a cappella performances that we have ever heard. This entry was submitted by Scott Turnbull who is an elementary music teacher from St. Petersburg, Florida. As the contest winner, Scott will be receiving a high-end microphone, autographed CD, and T-shirt from the band "Straight No Chaser". Congrats!

This is a song my old quartet "The Ivy League" did back in the day. Our lead wrote this as a tribute to some of our favorite quartets (in 1989) also to poke fun at ourselves.

The Ivy League on Kelly & Company in Dec 85
This was our third appearance on Kelly & Company. John was great fun, he sang with us on our 2'nd appearance. I don't have a copy of that.
