Any essayists out there? Surely some of you love writing essays

I'm attempting to write an essay on a book I did not read and do not have any notes on

I did it and it gives you like a whole summary.

Neither of those sites offer much information regarding The Golden Ass.

There is good news though!

My professor insists that on a 3-4 page paper you should NOT attempt to analyze the entire book and instead answer one of the essay prompts with relation to a small section of the book. He claims it doesn't matter if your essay is completely wrong if it is write in the context of the section you choose. Basically, if you write an essay explaining the 2008 Tigers are the best team in baseball history and discuss in length about how they scored 6 runs in the first inning of the Twins game on Sunday you'd get an A despite the fact they lost the game.

I'm going to write about his transformation into an ass and my thesis is about how the world is cruel and good things happen to bad people and bad things happen to good people. He turns into an ass in chapter 3 which is 10 pages long

LOL. This essay writes itself! I'll bet I could've written a good essay if I didn't wait until the last minute. I'm already more than halfway done and I've barely put any effort in. Think how good it'd have been if I'd either:

1. given myself more time
   
2. read the book
   
3. both a and b
   

Done! Now I just have to proofread.

No I think he may have gotten it done. Idk though, if Im still getting Tigers stuff out of it, I might just do it.

I'll write an essay... it's an excuse to not study for my finals!!! Give me a topic.... I can give a good topic but I already wrote an essay about it once, so I don't know if you would want to use it.

I don't like the topic... i don't think i'll write one.

I might write one if I feel like it and have nothing better to do. However, like any other essay I've written, it will be last minute.

Well, I think we should postpone this for the summer. I have finals to study for and 3 different massive projects (English, History, Science) to do and I wouldnt be able to fit it in.
