'cause my legs hurt! ha. Actually it is kinda funny that I bother comlaining about 5 - 6 miles.... because thats pretty pathetic
With my stupid asthma I am surprised I can even do that. I couldn't if I was running on a track though. But i was in weight room so I was able to. idk why it's different.

Yah asthma sucks... Especially when you are attempting to compete with everyone else. I'm the kind of person who hates being beat, and so most of the time I push myself until I can't breath.. at all.

i knw thats the way i am ... if i dont come in first or at least close i hate it and i have pushed my self to the point before where i cant breath, almost collapsing and dehydrated almost

I have ran to the point, multiple times, to where I actually collapse. I've only done it once this year, but did it multiple times last year. It always turns out really badly.... Especially when people don't know how to respond when a person can't talk because they can't breath, so nobody knows whats wrong with them.

i agree with that statement ya .. it really is hard to not push ur self to the limit ..when u see someone else ahead of u u just wont to push more and more and more and at times it back fires and screws u over but o well its all part of the game

Exactly. And when you are on a team competing, it is like... I can't let my team down. And you see someone beating you and you want to give up because it hurts sooo bad, but you have to continue because you can't let down yourself or your team. And then.... well, that is when you get hurt.

ya its like u may be hurting or tired but your team needs you ..like with me in football i could be tired and dead ..but they are counting on me to get that block for them and i try my hardest even if it means i hurt my self... but its just the way it is

Exactly the same with rowing. It's like, it hurts sooo bad and you are only half way through the race and you feel like you are going to die, and you know you can't make it to the end because it hurts that bad. but you have to. You know if you don't continue you are disapointing your entire team and you will never forgive yourself for ruining your chances for your team, for you boat club, and for yourself... yourself because you practice so much that if you don't finish then you couldn't forgive yourself.

next year im moving up to varsity and its gnna be a lot of stress

After novice year you are varsity for rowing. It is really confusing how it works. You could be a novice and be in varsity boats. It just depends on if you are good or not. Oh, and it depends on if you are tall. Which is why I will have a problem.... I am way too short.

hahah im tall if you kold say that.. ya and with us you could pay varisty when you start but i didnt think i was ready so i stayed on jv and im gonna start varisty next year.

just the pressure and im not that big so i decided to stay down n jv and just by next year ill be ready and i regret not doing aristy because i played a little bit of it and i liked it.. but ow well by next year ill be good

Wow... I wish I was tall. Not THAT tall, but taller than how I am now. Oh and the 6'5" person is the guy that I have like a huuuuge crush on so it's pretty funny because he is more than a foot taller than me.
