Hi gang! Long time no see! Well...in a nutshell...here's the "skinny" of it..

I went to the docs about a month or so ago for routine tests (stuff us guys have to deal with when we reach a certain age). I got a call from doc today, and I was diagnosed with Kidney Cancer. If there is any bright side to it, it's that he found it in it's infancy stages. It hasn't spread to any other organs (that he can tell)..and should only require a partial kidney removal. Worse case scenario ...

By Mark Polishuk [November 5, 2009 at 7:01pm CST]

MLB.com's T.R. Sullivan examined what some of the Rangers' plans might be this winter, and here are some of the highlights...

A right-handed bat is at the top of the Texas wish list for the off-season, with Sullivan singling out Jermaine Dye as perhaps the best fit for the Rangers amongst the veteran hitters on the free agent market.

There is a good chance that veteran shortstop Omar Vizquel ...

Dear users,

We have had for some time, downtime and slowdown due mainly to a new provider for our servers. This service, that we had been advised by top IBM engineers, was meant to optimize and anticipate the traffic increase on your forums and our servers.

We bitterly regret that provider choice which currently and after several days of research and development, was unable to provide a stable solution.

Therefore, we decided to leave the service to join back to our previous provider. ...

Everybody seemed pumped for the season, people were picking us to go to the World Series and we were gonna be a contender this season.

Well its August we are 12 games out of the Central, 17 games below .500 and we traded 6 veterans within 5 weeks.

This season was a complete failure and we might as well pack it in and start getting ready for next season. Grady should shut it down and get his shoulder surgery. Pronk should get his shoulder checked out. We need starting pitching and bullpen. ...

Fucking Horseshit

Could have had a tie game!

Bengals would have been the first team since the 88 and 89 Chiefs to play to a tie in back to back seasons

Would have been the first tie in the month of October since 1988; the last five tie games have happened in November; including the Bengals 13-13 tie with the Eagles last year
